Parent Conduct

1. Parents will encourage positive behavior for their children and remind them to have fun.

2. Parents will encourage their children to play within the rules of USA Lacrosse.

3. Parents will demand their child to treat other players, coaches, and officials with respect.

4. Parents will demand a sports environment that is free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol and will refrain from their use at all sporting events regarding POP Lacrosse. The only exception is our annual People of POP Event where alcohol will be available for people legal of age. Drugs and tobacco are still prohibited.

5. Parents will refrain from coaching their child and other players during games and practices.

6. Parents will never question or confront coaches at the practice or game field and will take time to speak with coaches at an agreed-upon time and place.

7. Parents will respect the official's authority during games and never question or taunt their calls.

8. Parents will maintain a positive and supportive spirit during games and practices and will never yell at their child or others for making a mistake.
